Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Manage the sales ledger, ensuring all invoices are raised accurately and on time
Monitor outstanding invoices and carry out credit control activities where required
Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies
Post receipts and allocate payments against client accounts
Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure billing accuracy
Assist in month-end processes, including reporting and account reconciliations
Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Contribute to improving processes and maintaining high levels of accuracy
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in an accounts receivable, credit control, or finance assistant role
Good knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Xero or Sage desirable)
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients
Organised, reliable, and proactive approach
AAT qualification (or studying towards) would be an advantage, but not essential
