Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Oversee cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements
Manage relationships with private equity stakeholders and external advisors
Develop financial models and board packs to support strategic decision-making
Ensure the finance function is fit for purpose for due diligence and sale preparation
Provide commercial insight to support operational performance and growth initiatives
Maintain strong governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with prior experience as a Finance Director
Track record of working with private equity-backed businesses and exposure to sale/exit processes
Strong technical skills in financial reporting, compliance, and governance
Commercially astute with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience in renewables, energy, or infrastructure would be an advantage
Resilient, results-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-changing environment
