Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Oversee preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS
Lead the financial close process, including month-end and year-end reporting
Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements
Manage tax, VAT, and regulatory reporting obligations
Develop and mentor the financial accounting team
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
Support system improvements and process efficiencies across finance
Contribute to financial planning and forecasting alongside the FP&A team
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong technical grounding
Experience in financial reporting and statutory accounting
Knowledge of audit processes and UK accounting standards
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
A proactive and detail-oriented approach
