As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accurate management accounts, supporting operational managers with financial insights, and ensuring robust cost control. You will be a key link between finance and operations, ensuring that financial information is understood and used to drive performance. This role offers a blend of reporting, analysis, and business partnering within a complex, high-volume environment.

As part of a larger group, the Bristol site plays a key role in overall performance, and the finance team is now looking to add a Management Accountant to strengthen reporting and support decision-making at both site and group level.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
Provide cost analysis and margin reporting, identifying areas for improvement
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight on production and efficiency
Assist with capital expenditure appraisals and investment cases
Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with controls
Support group reporting requirements and liaise with auditors as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
Qualifications & Experience
Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Previous experience in manufacturing or similar complex environments desirable
Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
A proactive approach with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
