As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You will work on a variety of projects, from domestic rooftop installations to larger commercial systems. Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) essential
Experience with solar PV installations highly desirable (training can be provided)
Strong knowledge of electrical safety and compliance
Full UK driving licence
Reliable, proactive, and customer-focused
Key Responsibilities
Install, test, and commission solar PV systems
Carry out electrical wiring, connections, and integration with inverters and battery storage systems
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing installations
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Work closely with roofers and other trades to deliver projects efficiently
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
